Mary Esteves is the Founder and President of Nova Consulting Inc. an organizational consulting firm that helps leaders at every stage inspire and develop talent. A counseling psychologist with over 30 years of global experience with business and institutional leaders, Ms. Esteves is dedicated to cultivating the talent that lies at the core of every organization. Her focus is on what motivates and inspires talent, how leaders engage the world and how to design structures and processes that optimize performance and passion.

In her career, Mary Esteves has headed other distinguished consulting organizations.  She was President of Integra Consulting, Partner and Managing Director for the Hay Group’s North and South America Human Resources Planning and Development Business Unit, and Officer and Senior Vice President at McBer and Company. While at McBer, Ms. Esteves furthered the pioneering work in the motivation and job competency areas begun by David McClelland and his initial team. She created the first practical applications of competencies for businesses in the areas of hiring, training and development and performance appraisal. Earlier in her career, Ms. Esteves headed the Applied Behavioral Sciences Group at a government research and development laboratory where she was in charge of individual and organizational development programs.

Ms. Esteves is a published author, holding a Master’s Degree in Counseling Psychology and has pursued advanced education with National Training Laboratories, The Institute for Jungian Studies, and the Institute of Social Research at the University of Michigan, among other institutions.
