Turning Dissatisfied Clients into New Business
A state-run organization with an entrepreneurial head was aggressively outbidding other contractors in supplying services to its sister state agencies. The head of the organization had been so successful politically that client organizations feared they would be taken over as the service provider began doing more and more of their jobs. Resistance to working with the service agency escalated until Nova was called in to help them learn how to partner with clients. Within months the service organization had not only turned its major agency relationships around, it also identified where its services were unproductive and where new ones of greater mutual benefit could be offered. Cooperation is now at an all-time high, with satisfied clients and new business ventures.
